Monitor Turning Off

I two HP 1955 monitors connected to the video described below, both DVI connections.  The secondary monitor keeps going to sleep shortly after I turn my computer on, and then I can't get it back on unless I re-login my computer.  How can I stop this behavior?

I presume you are using Desktop Clone or Extended desktop. I had the same problem with a PC at work with the same card. Did you configure it through windows properties or the Nvidia controls? It seems to go wrong using the Windows controls, but works fine if you configure it in the Nividia control panel. If this still does not work, download the latest driver from Nvidia here: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_162.62.html then uninstall the existing driver, restart and install the new driver.

P.S. The above driver link is for Windows 2000 and XP.

What resolution do you have set? It may be that the monitor does not support it. Try the latest Nvidia driver as described above.
