FTP Program to downloaded certain files
I am looking for an ftp program that I can tell to download only files with certain extensions and directories.
For example: I want to download only .html and .php files from my website. I do not want to download any images, zip files etc.
Any recommendations on what ftp software to use?

I use Ipswitch FTP Pro to DL all my website files. I can filter out whatever files I need or do a sort on them and choose each file respectively. In the options-transfer tabe you can include or exclude any extension you choose.

Can you give me instructions how to do that? I have it downloaded but it doesn't appear to be obvious at first look.
I agree with the recommendation to use WSFTP Pro by Ipswitch (http://www.ipswitch.com/products/ws_ftp/index.asp). The program is great.
I will mention one feature that wasn't mentioned above. You can make/use scripts to automate the download and even schedule these to run automatically. The script "language" is easy and basically just the FTP commands the program would use. If you will always be downloading the same types of files from the same directories then setup a script to save time.

You can setup filtering two ways:
1.) You can configure 'per site' setting where the DL setting will be unique to the site you are on
OR
2.) You can configure a 'Global' setting where your filtering will reflect in every site you manage.
To change each one you can:
1.) Click Tools
2.) Click Options
3.) Click Transfers/Extensions
4.) Edit to your liking
You can also change individual site by using the 'Convert Extensions' option in the transfer page located in the site options.

I do not see how the convert extensions only download certain files. Example .php files only. from what i see it only converts the extensions when I download the files.
