Access prints multiple pages

Access novice here.  Very small, basically uncomplicated Access DB runs a report and subreport from basic queries. For some reason, in the subreport, if there is more than one entry, the print function prints a page per line item.  I dont know how to show you the actual code involved so if you ask for more information, you will have to explain that too.  Also if you make suggestions, keep in mind I may not know exactly where you are referring to.
Thanks in advance!

off the top of my head, check something like "force new page" in the report design for the detail group and other groups

Nope, I set Force new page to None on all details and other sections. Something else?

Here's an interesting twist to this issue:

The main report :  'Supply Request' has a subreport 'Supply Detail Query'

The subreport will show one page only on print preview.
Whether the subreport is including in the main report or not, the report 'Supply Request' prints a page for every item in the detail or four or so pages.  Its very strange. I have looked at all of the settings I can think of. Is there anyone out there who would be willing to look at a sanitized version of the database in its entirety and play with it?

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

zip up your db and upload it into EE http://www.ee-stuff.com/Expert/Upload/upload.php
and post the link

Frankytee, Is there a way to save off a copy of the Database without any data? I am not certain that my employer would like me sending this out.

Nevermind, I deleted tables that were sensitive. Just have to trust you otherwise.

sami, i'll have a look when i have time. with my current workload and the number of questions i've been attending to EE you dont need to worry about sensitive data.

there were several errors
1) your main report query also included the po details table. i believe you should only include suppliers and po, po details should be in the subreport
2) your subreport query a select statement from your main query, thus it was not showing the data you needed
3) your subreport was not linked to your main report in the report design (i.e linkchildfields, linkmasterfields, both need to be set to PurchaseOrderNumber)
4) your report query had the purchaseordernumber hardcoded in the query. that means you would need to reset the query every time you run the report. this most likely means you are opening the report directly from the db window -> you should open reports using code via a form.(another question altogether, look at below question on how to dynamically filter reports at runtime).
http://www.experts-exchange.com/Programming/Languages/SQL_Syntax/Q_22891573.html

5) look at the new reports and queries i created below. it shows all purchases (1 per page) so you would need to use code to filter for a particular purchase order.

main report:      rptSupplyRequest_Frank
report query:      qFrankPOQuery

subreport:      rptPOQuerySubReport
subrpt query:      qFrankReportSubQuery

looks like i can't upload from office so i'll have to load it from home

My email is samirise@hotmail.com I am not sure how to export that report into my production database so if you could help in that area, I would appreciate it. He is use to manually editing the PO number field each time he creates a new one. I am not sure why he does it this way except perhaps he doesnt know how to dynamically create a new one. In any case, I need to keep the process as close to the same as before.  Will I have what I need here? It seems like there is something missing.... I guess I'lll just wait and see. Thanks so much btw, you'll make me a star if I turn this around.
