Outlook 2003 Not showing Reply/Forward Icons

I have a weird issue that one of my users noticed today...When he replies to an email sometimes it shows that reply icon (envelop <-) and sometimes does not.

I noticed this on some of my emails as well...not a huge deal, but since he works out of his email all day, he actually uses the reply icon to see if he sent a response to a customer or not.

Does anyone know of a fix/patch for this issue?

I was reading some newsgroups that actually mentions this issue, but no real resolution.

We are running Exchange 2K3 SP2 with Outlook 2003 client (mixed mode) SP2 (for the most part).

by: suggests opening Outlook with the /CleanViews switch to fix the problem of the replied to icons not showing properly ... but be aware you will lose any Custom Views that you have defined in the process.
