Is it possible to have Outlook 2003 auto configure to use RPC over HTTP/S.  Currently when a new user starts Outlook for the first time it autoconfigures itself to the Exchange server, can that be change some how to force the RPC over HTTP/S?

You would have to look at the PRF file that you are using to add in the RPC over HTTPS information. I am sure that the information can be populated - I haven't got access to a machine right now to check.

It certainly looks as if your suggestion would work, but it seems very complicated.  I download the Outlook Deployment Options: customizing a PRF file.  I am researching using the Custom Installation Wizard to see if that would accomplish the same result.  Thanks for your reply!  It is the first time I have posted in this site.
