Links open a new active tab

When I click on a link on a web page, Opera opens a new tab and then makes that the active tab.  Is there anyway to prevent Opera from making the new tab active?

Greetings rmmarsh !

3 ways:
1. Use middle mouse button to open links in background tabs.
2.  Ctrl + Shift + Click on link to open link in background tab.
3. Use mouse gesture ?GestureDown? to open links in backround. You need to change action of gesture before.
