How to save and/or export website data in Adobe Contribute

I'm new some components of the Adobe CS3 Suite. Just stumbled aross the excellent facility to set up my blogs for direct editing in Contribute.

I've set the blogs (and some websites) up in Contribute on my laptop. How can I export these settings to my desktop? Is there a file or folder which I can copy? An export facility which I haven't found?

Help!

Hi vallis,

I've not found a way to easily move the config data from one version of Contribute to another and mm_Export doesn't appear to work either.

However, what you can do as the Administrator is send a key file via email and that will set up the site on any other installation of Contribute.

Thanks Jason,

Unfortunately, the key file email only works with websites, not blogs.
I suspect that the answer to this is that you can't.

I tried the Windows Easy Transfer Wizard. It actually asked me to close Contribute so I was hopeful. Unfortunately, it didn't appear to include any Adobe CS3 settings.

The information appears to be held here in Vista:
C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Adobe\Contribute CS3\Sites

But copying that didn't work.

Yes, I didn't say anything about the Sites folder because I knew copying didn't work.

I don't blog, so I didn't realize the key wouldn't work.  Sorry about that.

Thanks Jason,
I don't believe it's possible.
However, your solution is the nearest thing to a correct answer.

I'm really impressed with the blogging facility in Contribute. I've been ignoring the app as I don't need it for its main purpose.

Other tools for making it easy to upload images and edit blogs only work on Wordpress blogs hosted on the Wordpress site.
Contribute works on blogs hosted anywhere. It makes uploading images a 10 second snap instead of a 5 minute ftp hassle.
