Getting stock information via Web Services

Hello,

I was wondering if someone here knew of a web site that would allow me to get stock information via Web Services.  For example, I am interacting with a web service that asks me for a stock symbol, and that same web service would give me a whole bunch of financial information.

thanks

Sry for the above post. I had my response disappear on me.

If there is a web service out there for non-subscribers, I'm not aware of it.

You could implement a simple solution using HttpWebRequest to POST form data to a provider like finance.yahoo.com and parse the HTML you get in response.

NP, If someone does know of such a service, I am equally interested to know of it.

P.S. Using regular expressions is the quickest way to extract the data from an HTML page.

Ok,

i guess the question is dead.  However, for what it's worth, yahoo has a nice stock screener tool.

thanks for our interest.
