silverlight question

hi all,
does there in php development on linux something like silverlight 1.1 in .net? or does silverlight support linux?

if the answer is yes would you please give me links, urls and  tutorials about that and explain to me what to do where to get the software etc...

Looks like Mono is working on it, but is not quite ready yet:

Silverlight is Microsoft technology, so Linux is not supported by default.

You can't develop for .net or silverlight in linux or run it from a linux server.

They require the .NET framework which only runs on windows.

Check the Mono project. Mono makes .NET development available on Linux.
