Win Server 2k3 VPN DNS resolving issue

I have recently set up a VPN connection in win server 2k3 for my outside sales reps to access network resources.  I have two file sharing servers, one of which is also my DNS server and the other is being used to host the VPN connections.  The problem I am having is accessing network drives on the machine that is not Hosting the VPN through the VPN.  I can connect to the drives if I use the servers IP address, but can't by server name.  I have added the DNS server to the DNS relay agent, but this seems to do nothing.  Any suggestions?

DNS over VPN is kind of shacky but can be done, or so i'm told. I resorted to just making drives by IP but i'd be interested to find out how to do it properly so i hope someone has an answer for you.

That is what I am currently doing, pointing via IP, it defiantly works just fine, in fact any time I'm out of the office and a network drive goes down I tell people to access via IP as it's pretty fail safe.  I'd like to get the DNS running on my  VPN so I can have Global How To documents made up for people to help themselves if they get booted from a drive.  Thanks for the reply!
