"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Go edit the website properties, and on the Directory Access tab, click the button towards the top for anonymous authentication. Make certain that the username and password specified there is in fact correct, and the account is not disabled or locked out in any way.

What would be a "correct" username. And where would this account be located.

The correct user name is the one that is listed there on that tab. The user account itself can be found and modified within Computer Management on your server.
