I am looking for something similar to Dell's DRAC (Dell remote access card).  I have a server that i want to be able to access remotely and have the ability to control the power state (turn on, shutdown, reboot).

Do they make these types of cards for generic servers?  Can you recommend one?

If it helps the server is a:

Lights out management is another word for what you are looking for.

The wikipedia link has some links to vendors that sell them and you can also do a google search for vendors.

I have never used anything but the DRAC so I won't be able to recommend anything else.
