We have a 2003 Standard Edition Server running the Fax service.<br />

It has been working great for several weeks but now the service has stopped and when we try to start it we receive the following error: &quot;Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.&quot;<br />

Have googled but no luck finding this error relating to the Fax service.<br />

Fax Server Service Start up Error

Windows Server 2003 was based on Windows XP and was released in four editions: Web, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter.
