Missing Site Features from SharePoint WSS 3

We had some problems with our SharePoint WSS 3, one of the default pages got corrupt so the way to fix it was to clean up the SiteFeatures parts, however this removed the Document Library parts, so all the old document libraries can't be opened now, how do I go about getting the default  SIteFeatures back to my Sharepoint, now when I go to Create a new item in the Libraries list, I don't see the Document Libraries

Try to go here: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\TEMPLATE\FEATURES\DocumentLibrary and see if the feature.xml still is there and DocLib & Listtemplates folder. Try to deactivate and activate the features by using the stsadm tool

See this google list might something between which can help you

We actually had to removed some of the folders containing the Features so that was the reason, we were suspecting they were corrupt as we did upgrade from WSS 2 several months ago we also thought they may not be fully compatible with WSS 3, so after putting the corresponding folder back in that directory we got back our access to those old Libraries

Is there a way to download the Features folder that are 100% compatible with WSS 3 or I only get it when I install WSS 3?

You only get it when installing wss 3.0, it is not an good idae to delete standard sharepoint stuff. sharepoint is a very sensible server, i realised that many times :-)
