Another way would be to boot from a Windows compatible bootcd and copy the files out of that folder.<br />

I use HP nc6400 and Windows XP. &nbsp;Recently i performed a emergency recovery with backup option.<br />
After recovery, i changede the computer name from the ealier one(PCxxxxxx) &nbsp;to a new one. <br />
After recovery, am unable to view the old files available in the &quot;My Backup folder&quot;. When i try to access it, i get the error message as &quot;access denied&quot; though am the administrator.<br />

Is it possible to find out the old computer name...<br />
