Replaced hard Drive ...Now WHAT?????

I have installed a new hard drive in a Dell OptiPlex GX240..... now I'm not sure what to do...next....I want to re load an OS  Windows...but  first I need to do the BIOS  right? So  when I start up the computer I press F2  and it goes to a screen BIOS Version A02?   Help can you tell me the correct steps to get this computer up and running.  ????

You should not neccessarly have to do anything with the bios. Unless you have read the revision notes and something in them tells you that the version of windows you are installling requires  a bios update just pop in your
windows cd boot from it and follow the instalation prompts.
Yes, indeed. As Pheidius said above, pop in xp cd and start to install os. If system will not boot from xp cd, then you will do something with bios.
