Another option for file uploading with ASP is FileUp by SoftArtisans.  A powerful and popular upload component.  Easy to use.

Hi all,

All the answers seem to good and acceptable. Now, I have to face another challenge. After creating the user interface, I have to write code in classic asp to read the file. The file the user uploads is an excel file with different columns. Please Provide me necessary help. I am really very new to Classic Asp.

thanks in advance,
nk

Still no URL but I am pretty sure you mean http:Q_22897919.html.  You should not postpone the closing of this question though.  If any of your other 9 open questions are also done then you should close them to ASAP.  Many experts will see those and not reply in new questions.  If you still need help with this issue then let us know.

I'm glad I could help but I noticed you assigned a B grade.  Did you still have a question or need help with this?  If so let us know and I will be happy to provide what help I can.  Otherwise it would  be nice to have an explanation for the grade.  It is nice to have a chance to earn the A or at least know why it wasn't.  In this case it really seemed like it was.

Thanks for the fun question.
