Is DNS installed on the other Domain Controller?  If not, install DNS and ...

... reconfigure all of the clients (and possibly the remaining Domain Controller) so that their Preferred DNS server points to the IP address of the remaining DC.

Do you intend on restoring, rebuilding or in some way replacing the failed DC?

I'm guessing you've lost all FSMO roles (but that is just a guess), if so, you'll need to seize all 5 (or forcibly transfer 2 and seize the rest).  The link I posted provides the steps to do this, you'll probably need to repeat the steps for -

1. the PDC
2. the Infrastructure master
3. the RID master
4. the Domain Naming master
5. the Schema master

... it looks something like this and should be run as a Domain Admin on the remaining DC ...

C:\>ntdsutil
ntdsutil: pop off
Interactive popups are disabled
ntdsutil: rol
fsmo maintenance: con
server connections: con t s localhost
Binding to localhost ...
Connected to localhost using credentials of locally logged on user.
server connections: q
fsmo maintenance:  Seize domain naming master
fsmo maintenance:  Seize infrastructure master
fsmo maintenance:  Seize PDC
fsmo maintenance:  Seize RID master
fsmo maintenance:  Seize schema master

... you're typing the text on each line after the colon ":"

NOTE - these steps can be abbreviated but it makes them more difficult to understand if it's your first time.

I don't appreciate the 'waiting' comment, I do this in my own time and of my own accord - demonstrate some patience or get your help from someone else!  Man, that's rude and I don't lay that at the feet of a language barrier.

I've given you both the commands and a link, I can re-paste the same stuff or you can refer back in the thread -- the link was in my 2nd post.

FWIW - I'm done helping here ...
