System Protection against virus - adware etc.

Win XP home office with 4 computers. Use Wicrosoft programs and other general and the web plenty.

What do you recomend for the best performing overall simple suite of computer protection that won't bog down general web operation speed and eat up memory?

    I have been using NOD32 for my home network and I love it.
    I have had McAffee and Symantec in the past, and they were always
    a mess, very heavy, and hard to configure and maintain.
