windows ME has only 2% used and the rest is free. Why does this do it and how can correct the problem?
hp presario laptop with windows me is only used for games and when I try to put a new game in the computer Imessage of not installing as the RAM is full need your help

The message could mean that there isn't a sufficient amount of RAM (memory)... not free disk space

..I do mean insufficient ram. I checked the laptop thru and also and even on C there is only a little bit used...I look forward to getting this problem solved.

Depending on the model of laptop, you may be able to add additional memory. Since your laptop is running Windows Me, I assume that it's quite old (at least in the computer age context). However, older laptops may not have user-accessable memory upgrades.
So, forget about the C: drive (that has nothing to do with RAM memory), and tell us the exact model of laptop you have

graye...I appreciate that you helped me with your great advice. I followed all your suggestions and this worked out so well. I will just keep the laptop for games at whatever game is working.In the meantime
