Struggling with my HP Photosmart C6150 Printer. &nbsp;Works ok as All-in-one, but for printing photos - all prints come out very, very, very dark. &nbsp;<br />

Have had good luck with HP 7200 and 7100 series - but the C6150 is kind of a dog.<br />

The calibrate printer option doesn't seem to be available on this model. &nbsp;I'm trying to print from Adobe Photoshop CS2 and I can't find instructions for advanced features - like whether I should let Printer or Adobe determine color options, etc. &nbsp;Spend 3 hours on chat with HP last night and finally told to reinstall software. &nbsp;<br />

QUESTION - Is this an inferior printer for printing photographs? &nbsp;What is a good photo printer for under $300? &nbsp;Or should I keep trying to fiddle with software and settings to get best results?<br />

I'm scanning and printing lots of old family photos (from 1920s through 1990s) and I'm wasting DAYS fiddling around. &nbsp;Would rather spend money at this point if I could just hit print and get good results.<br />

Also will ask a question under Adobe Software category - about setting up advanced printing.<br />
