Outlook 2007 not indexing recent emails, only older ones

I installed Outlook 2007 a week or two ago and it STILL has not indexed all of my emails.  When I do a search it pulls up emails from last May and prior, but nothing since then.  It says it is still indexing.  What can I do to get it to *finish* indexing?

    Greetings barrypilger !

Indexing is slow, but not that slow to take a week.  Indexing can finish overnight.  You may have a corrupt index. Rebuild your index.

Indexing could occur at anytime, not only at night.  So Outlook may be indexing new mail, which seems like indexing does not stop.

    Hope this helps, war1

Thanks.  I set the reindexing in motion.  I'll let you know if it solves the problem.

It took around 27 hours, but the index has successfully been completed!  Thanks~~!
