Compliance question about daily ongoing backup of files at an online site.

There is a folder/file we need backed up daily.  And we need a record of ongoing changes to that folder that are read only.  Meaning ideally, an onsite data vendor would accept a copy of the file/folder for monday 8/14/07 and then for tuesday 8/15/07 and so on such that changes were saved ongoing according to date without ovewriting the previous day's info, sort of like a WORM tape, but instead done online.

    Accepted Solution

If I read this correctly you need a full backup of a folder, and for it to be stored offsite.

Certainly there are companies that will do internet backups of files and providing you pay for the data used you can have it anyway you want you can have incremental backups differential backups or full back ups.#

Just be prepaired to pay particurlaly if you wish to keep many generations.
