Cannot mount store since Windows Update

Had a few cries this morning from users stating their email was not working. I logged into the server (SBS2003 Std.) and had a buuble notification saying that a Windows Update had been downloaded and thre system required a reboot - this I did now Email is offline. All my server licenses disappeared also but luckily I had a backup of them.
Errors logged are 9175 - The MAPI call 'OpenMsgStore' failed with the following error:
The Microsoft Exchange Server computer is not available. Either there are network problems or the Microsoft Exchange Server computer is down for maintenance.
The MAPI provider failed.

Storage Group - Initialization of Jet failed.
The Exchange store service is running normally but when I attempt to mount the store I get error c1041724.
The only thing that I did a few weeks ago was to move the location of the log and system from C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\MDBDATA to another drive as I was running low on space and the system worked fine but this update seems to have played havoc, by the way I believe they were kb933729, kb933360 & 941202.
Any advice appreciated
