Are you referring to the comapany's Intranet or the Public website?

If it is the intranet , you might have to login to your companies domain .. using your domain credentials for you to be able to access it cos

I believe that it is in the intranet, but I would like to access it from the internet. would it be just as easy to set it up as a public web or login to the company domain. I will need all staff members to access it as it is a company calendar. can you step me though this?
On SBS2003 Std, the CEICW will do all the work for you.

For SBS2003 Premium, where ISA is installed, you need to follow Microsoft KB 838304

I propose you using PHP to authenticate the user via FORM (POST method):

Create /companycalendar
Then you can make a PHP login to request credentials, and include() the desired page after logging in.

This way you will not be revealing the information's real address. But make sure you type:
@include "FILE-URL";

instead of
include "FILE-URL";
since the last one outputs an error message if that file wasn't found, and it could compromise your server.
