About exchange 2007 frontend

I would like to install an exchange 2007 frontend server. I already have the backend configured.

I would the frontend to attend to mobile client requests (ActiveSync and OWA) and to receive/send SMTP traffic.

I have done this before with exchange 2003 and it is working OK.

The problem is that, as far as i know, in exchange 2007, these are tasks that are separated in different server roles.

Can i do all i want in the same server?

Thanks

NOT a CAS / HUB server... The docs I've been looking at state that it sits inside the network and that ISA2004 / 06 communicate with that server from the DMZ.

Only the edge server sits in the DMZ in EX07 world.

Yes Exchange 2007 can handle multiple roles.

You require a CAS & HUB roles on your Exchange 07 installation.

Be aware that all exchange 2007 roles sit inside your internal network apart from the edge role
