Does anyone know of any mechanisms for timing webservices and/or any CF process? Thanks.

CF ships with a process through the administration portal that allows you to run processes at set intervals.  Under the 'Debugging and Logging' navigation tab click the 'Scheduled Tasks' Link.

What I'm after is to be able to run each function within a CFC and then test how long it took that function to run.

ah, in the administration portal go to "debugging settings" under "debugging and logging".  enable debugging, robust debugging and then about halfway down you will see 'Timer Information".

Now when you run your cf pages at least locally you will get a lot of debugging information including execution time for each of the templates.

if you want to see that information remotely you will need to add the remote ip address to the 'debugging IP Addresses" (link right beneath debugging and logging)

I did check and there is something called the CFTIMER code in CFMX 7. I'll give you the points since what you suggested let me to it. Thanks for your help.
