inplace migration of 2003 Windows
Is it possible to do an inplace migration of a domain?
eg
a company we just bought based in lazytown, and its domain called dom.com
we want to migrate users mail boxes servers and sid history over to dom1.com, but still using the existing servers in Lazytown.
basically we dont want th e files and data /mailboxes moved on to diffrent boxes.
both domains (diff foressts) 2003 AD

the guide? the readme? with ADMT? I have a couple of test domains link to guide your refering to please?
Download the ADMT v3 Migration Guide from the link above in the "What others are downloading" section. It looks quite a long document but it covers different migration scenarios. Inter-forest domain restructures start on page 102. It explains about the required trusts and test labs etc.
