oledb provider

I have the following connection string that has worked for months
"Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source = P:\;Extended Properties=dBASE IV;User ID=Admin;Password="

Today, after my system crashed, I get the following error when trying to fill a dataset within a application
"Unexpected error from external database driver (10756). Again the fill operation has been working well for months

so....any ideas ?... is the microsoft.jet oledb providor corrupt..and if so how can i correct the problem

Is there any way you can directly open your database to see if it is not corrupt? I know MS Access MDB files sometimes crash hard and become totally unusable afterwards. You might have to restore your database.
Alternatively this could have a completely different source. You say your system crashed. Have you got access to the P: drive? I assume that it is on a network. If yes have your security settings been modified due to your system crash?  Or in other words do you still have proper rights to access the database?
Otherwise if the OLE driver is actually corrupt you will have to reinstall  Msjet40.dll

Hope this helps...
