Copy by date on a mac

I am unfamilar with mac os. In windows you can use the xcopy command to copy items by date. Xcopy will also recurse directories meaning it will copy the entire folder structure as well.

how can I do this one a mac?

find . -mtime <age_in_days> | xargs -J % cp % destination
