Unable to view a video file with the .RDB extension.

I work for a Township and our Police Department recently gave me a cdrom with a video file from a security camera and asked me if there was any way to view the video file.  The file has a .rdb extension and I can't find any video appliction that supports this video format.  Has anyone worked with this file type and if so what software do you use to view the video?

Hello Negley97, is there anymore details you can provide, I havent actually seen this file association either, most security cameras I do know of but this one ,
It's not a rar or iso which need to be mounted to extract the video. What makes you think its a video?
Some links came up with for .RDB, was it from a MAC windows?
Orical?
Some type of backup databased?

File Type 1 N64 ROM Database  (Most common)
File Type 2 Retrospect Backup Set
 opens with- Windows  EMC Retrospect

All known filetypes for the file extension RDB

Are you sure it's not a .rdf  .RDF ??

I was handed a cdrom from a detective who said it was a survelance video sent to him by the company that had the theft.  The cd has no details with it, just that 1 file with a rdb extension on it.  I've contacted the company as well and I'm waiting to hear back from them on what brand of camera they used.
