We are moving from an external voip provider to a trixbox system.  I'd like to know if there is any way to have our Polycom phones (Soundpoint IP 501) to work with both systems simultaneously.

    Accepted Solution

Does the Soundport support multiple lines?
If it does then configure one line to talk to your existing provider and the other line to your trixbox system.

I wasn't able to configure the second lines via the phone interface, but the web interface allowed me to specify a different server for the second line
