HP Openview Data Protector 6.0

Greetings experts!!

I have a Windows 2003 server running HP Openview Data Protect v6 that is the cell manager, installation server, etc.  This server is just one of five member servers in an AD domain.  After joining them to the AD domain, my backups have gone to h3ll.  I contine to get the error:

IPC READ ERROR    SYSTEM ERROR : 10054 Connection reset by peer

I have tried uninstalling the agents, restarting the servers, running nslookup, ping, etc.  I have no idea what to do next.  HP Support is brutual!  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!

The solution ended up being a combination of thrown together ideas.  I could not for the life of me document what fixed it.  I did check out the GPO rights but they were only setting the Windows Update Services and a couple of the "run once" options.  I hate this backup product and can't wait for the licenses to expire so that I can find a new product.  Support is a joke and the OpenView website is even worse.

SysExpert- I have worked with you in the past and I truely appreciate you helping me out on this one.  I am awarding you the points based on the fact that you spent the time trying to offer up a solution when no one else would.  I appreciate that and look forward to working with you again.

Best regards,
Aaron
