Cannot remove corrupted WSUS 3 install

We have a system with WSUS 3 installed, for some reason it did not install the database during the install, but thinks that it did.
Attempts to uninstall are proving frustrating:
Does not appear in Add/remove programs
Running The original installer crashes
Removing registry keys was not producing results and appeared to make things worse(ie I don't know what keys I have to pull, and so restored my registry backup)

I am looking for a way to manually or automatically uninstall WSUS3 such that I can then try to install it again on this server.

Any Suggestions?

Try the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility for the uninstall:

Then, before you attempt to reinstall, check the Release Notes for Microsoft Windows Server Update Services 3.0

Well, there is a tool I've not seen before.
It worked great too, install is running right now.
We had a situation where the roof leaked a little water onto one of our servers, so we had to pull the drives and move them to another server of the same model.  After doing that, WSUS 3.0 wouldn't work anymore, and it wouldn't let us remove it the normal way.  Fortunately, it was only running a replica of WSUS.

Here is a link I ran across for manual removal of WSUS 3.0 which worked for us:
