How to allow a domain user to log in remotely into the server?

I need to have a domain user to log in to the server remotely with basic no rights to make changes on the server, I have tried that and it did not work something saying about a policy!

Thanks

I tried saving the users password on the remote desktop client so it does not prompt the user for a password and it is not working, it does ask for the user password still. does anyone knows how to fix that. I'm trying to log in into a windows 2000 server, it may be some policy that does not allow saved passwords.

thanks
