ActiveSync stops working with errorcode 85020006

Out of nowhere, 2 of our phones stopped sync'ing with our Exchange 2003 server while docked to their desktop machines. ActiveSync reports a 85020006 error, which is "unable to connect to server". The phones sync fine over GPRS, and we have several other phones that sync with no problems at all. I've tried setting the "Connects me to" to "Internet" instead of "Autodetect" in Activesync as people on various sites have suggested, but to no avail. Any good ideas out there?

There is a very long thread on one of Microsoft's forums on this error, have you been through that?

Also, I would test this on a different machine, or at least using a new User profile in Windows with Local Admin rights.

    I hope this helps !

    Try that.
