I have a network of XP Pro client machines and when they use Remote Desktop Connection and put their user name and password it would log on to a Terminal Server and work.

But now when they put their user name and logon it trys to logon to the local server not the domain and they have to change it all the time.

I dont know what I did but I need to fix it.

Edit the following registry key on the server:

HKLM \ Software \ Microsoft\Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ Winlogon \ DefaultDomainName .

Set defaultdomainname to the name of your domain.
