Additional Exchange Server issues

Previously i had asked a question about transferring mail to a new mail server with a different name due to the fact the my additional server is not function properly with my current one, the general consensus was that i should attempt to fix all issues because changing servers was not pretty and would affect permissions, email addresses, etc. So i will list all the things happening, all help will be most appreciated.
So lets begin at the start, intially the E2k3 (srv1)was running by itself fine with only one small problem. That is every morning outlook will not connect and the Information Store service needs to be restarted. Apart from that no dramas.
Then i installed another server (srv2) also w/ E2k3 sp2. It install fine, no probs. But there are a lot of issues.
Firstly in the queue of srv1 there is a queue from srv1 to srv2 with will not go through. The source is the SMTP Virtual Server. When I go into the messages, they are fron srv1-IS@mydomain.com. But they will not go through??
Next, If I open System Maneger on Svr1 the Information Store on Srv2 is dismounted, if i try to mount it is get the following error - c1041723 You do not have permissions required to complete the operation on the information store. If I open System Manager on Srv2 it shows that the store is already mounted.
There are also issues the moving the mailbox and then the mailbox doesnt work, but i think i should work these issues out first.
