How to Modify Title Bar in FireFox, File Edit View History...

I would like to know how to Modify "Title Bar" in FireFox. There seems to be allot of wasted space after "File Edit View History Bookmarks Yahoo! Tools Help" Look at linked picture to see what bar I am referring to.

Right click in an area of space on the toolbar and choose "customize". You can then add things onto the end of the title bar, including some Add-Ons you may have running (such as No Script).

If you need anymore help, let me know.

Thanks.

Hello stevef22,

I add favorite webpages to the Bookmarks Tool Bar folder.  Then I right click on empty area in Toolbar and select Bookmarks Tool Bar.  Then I drag the bookmark toolbar to the empty area of title bar. and close out the empty Bookmark Toolbar.

Hope this helps!

Is there anyway to add a bookmark into the toolbar, not the whole bookmarks link. Sorta like the Quicklaunch Bookmark Bar bar already in Firefox ( I just want a few certain bookmark links up top on the File Edit View... Bar to save space)

You can open the page in FF.  Then drag and drop the icon at the head of the address bar to the Bookmarks Tool Bar folder.

stevef22,
You can't place an actual bookmark on that particular toolbar.  There is a way to create another bookmark toolbar, but you will not be able to place it on that top toolbar.

The only way to add things to the top toolbar is through an add-on. For example, if you install no-script you can install that icon in that top toolbar. You may need to search extensions for a toolbar one that can be added into that top toolbar, I know there are a lot of extensions but I don't see another way to do this.

Thanks,

James.

Update - I don't know if this is because Firefox has been updated since this question was started, but I was wrong.  You can certainly Customize the toolbars to move the Bookmarks Toolbar to the top File - Edit - View... toolbar.  It seems to be able to take almost any item to that top toolbar now.  Even the Address Bar.

Simple rightclick on any toolbar and select Customize. It's then Drag and Drop.
