How to use a CheckBox as an Item within UltraExplorerBar

Hi,

We are using 2007.2 and cant figure out how to use checkboxes as items when the style is "VisualStudio2005Toolbox" for the UltraExplorerBar.

We have dropped a UltraCheckEditor and used that within the "EditorControl"
but the checkbox remains in it's null (tri) state.

We have trawled the docs and forum but cant find any answer!

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

James.

I tried to create an example as you outlined, and ran upon the same problem.  The problem lies in the EditorControl referencing the UltraCheckEditor itself, not a copy of it used per item.  In other controls (such as the UltraGrid), you can access the item via the EditorControlResolved property;  no such luck here.

As alternatives, I would suggest the following.  1)  you can create the item Group as a Control Container, then drop the UltraCheckEditor in the container.  2)  If using the checkbox is absolutely necessary, try using the UltraTree instead.

Hi Zeon,

Many thanks for your reply - i was doubtful I would receive anything on the Infragistics thread!

I, late yesterday, already did as your suggestion and used the ControlContainer style and programatically added UltraCheckEditors which seem to work great.

Many thanks again.

James.
