Exchange 2003 5AM Information Store Dismount Issue.

I have a client running Exchange 2003 and when their information store dismounts at 5AM, it does not come back online.  Now, I do know that this particular server is almost completely out of space and we are upgrading them to Exchange 2003 SP2.  I also know the registry keys to access when the store dismounts, and why this is happening in the first place, however my question is this.  Is it possible to temporarily disable this dismount via a registry key?  I realize this is not ideal, but we have to buy some time to get in there and clean up some space and upgrade Exchange to SP2 so that we can increase the database limit.  Thanks

It goes without saying that this should have been done long ago.  When a client refuses maintenance though, what can you do, you know?  Thanks for the answer.
