The option to configure mail is available in Management ----&gt;Database Mail---right click this option and you should be able to configure SQL Mail.<br />

I have installed SQL 2005 standard for a DB server. I wanted to configure sqlimal, but it is not in the management console. I have installed all components and still no imail. I installed sql 2005 enterprise on another server thinking it might be the version, but sqlimail is not there either. Am I doing something wrong or missing a step?
