I have a windows xp sp2 machine that I am having a problem with InstallShield Tuner 7.0 for Adobe Acrobat.  At one time it was installed on my machine with Adobe Reader 7.  Over time my machine was upgraded to Adobe 8 Reader and InstallShield Tuner 7.0 would not run, would not remove, and would not reinstall.  I removed Adobe Reader 8 and reinstalled Adobe Reader 7.  No matter what I do with Installshield, it keeps giving me the following windows installer message which I cannot get past:

The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.

It keeps looking for "InstallShield Tuner 7.0 for Adobe Acrobat.msi".

The installation file is an .exe file and I cannot find the above msi file anywhere.  All I want to do is remove InstallShield completely from my machine.  I cannot find an install directory anywhere, but it is in my Add/Remove programs list.  And periodically I will be installing something that is not related and will get the same Windows Installer message asking for the .msi file.

Please Help.....

Thanks,
Kendal

The second link takes me to the .exe installer.  I have that and every time I run it, it keeps asking for the .msi file.

Try reinstalling Windows Installer 3.1 (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=889482FC-5F56-4A38-B838-DE776FD4138C)

Otherwise - download and install http://support.installshield.com/kb/files/Q108322/ISScript8.zip

Then try the exe file again.
