'HINT TEXT"  in c# windows form for disabled controls

i had a text box which is disabled in windows form  so i cant see the "HINT TEXT" when i placed the cursor on it becos textbox is disable  so how to see the hint text even though the control is disabled

    this is the standard behaviour. have you tried to use readonly instead of enable property?

    if i set it to readonly if i click the text box the cursor will be insde textbox but i dont want cursor to go inside the textbox  so i set it to disabled

    problem is
    but i cant see the  hint text regularly at all  times
