I have created an exchange resource account. I need to find how how or if I can post the calendar for that account in a public folder. So users can see the calendar other than using the scheduling tab.

Wouldn't be more simple to just create a calendar on a public folder and give everyone access to it ?
What exactly are you trying to accomplish ?

The calendar is being used for booking in a conference room.  Using a resource allows users to book against that calendar. I am trying to save a step here. If they create an event in their own calendar and invite attendees and include the resource it will log the event in each attendees calendar and in the resource calendar. Correct.  Is it not worth the effort? Or safer to do like I had. Make someone enter it into their own calendar and in the public one? Just trying to make things less labor intensive

Most easy way is to just make a public folder as Calendar.
Then give permissions to everyone to that public folder and let it run.
