Offline folder syncronization dialog box appears.

My Documents folder redirection --
I see this with Windows XP Pro workstations when we redirect the My Documents folder to a server share. Everytime the user logs off or shuts down, the offline folder sync. dialog appears and you have to wait for it to process. Previously a consultant had disabled this from happening through some setting on the DC server ( AD ). Anyone know what that would be?   Also if you can remove this from the users view, will any warnings or errors still be displayed?  Thanks for any help...

Ok, point taken... How would I do this in group policy?  I only have one group policy set.  Would I have to manually reset the laptops to sync.?

i would split laptops and desktops into two OU's

Then apply a policy to each with the above settings apprp configured

I understand that, but I want my users to be able to keep working even if there network connection goes down.  Can this be done without the above suggestion?
