Running SBS 2003.  I am getting error 721 when trying to VPN.
This happens on different computers.  some work some don't.  And i can only seem to get one working at one time on a particular netowkr.  If i try it on another remote netowkr same thing.  I can however get one vpn up at each remote site.  I have two different remote sites i am using to test.
I can never get more than one pc to vpn at either site. I have also noticed first in best served.
If at one site i vpn in it connects.  i disconnect and connect on another machine it wont work.  error 721
if i reboot both computers and connect on the other machine that didnt connect previosuly it connects now.  and the other computer that connected before wont connect now.  real pain.

i can get the vpn to work on all computers.  however not more than one from each remote site.  and if one is connected first the others cannot connect without a reboot.

any help would be much appreciated.

Hello,

Only one connection via PPTP can be established between two sites by design, because the GRE protocol can't be shared.
If you need a multiple VPN connections I suggest you create a IPSec Tunnel between sites. You should build a IPSec tunnel with routers (capable to IPsec) or other devices like Juniper firewall, Cisco firewall, etc.

ok.  i can have two connections active in two different sites though.  e.g connect from home to work.  connect from friends house to work.  at the same time.  this works.  ?

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

Yes, it will work.

first connection home-work has a GRE between two IP add.
second connection friend-work has another GRE between two other IP add.

Exactly.
In order to more than one system connect in a site connect to another remote server device, the best way is build a tunnel between sites (no machines) and connect two LANs. As I say before you can do that with IPSec tunnel over Inet. The devices involved in this tunnel could be: some routers with IPSec support, and almost all the firewalls.
