How to setup a new Cisco ASA 5520

We just purchased a Cisco ASA 5520. We are replacing our pix 515. How difficult is it to configure it? Is the Web interface to configure or we would have to use the Cisco ASDM to configure it.  I remember that we used the consul port to connect to the Pix and use command line interface to configure them initially before using the graphical interface.
How do use the consul port to connect to the ASA. I dont rambler how it was done on the pix.

Can you also give me some info on how to access Cisco Switches. I think we have some Cisco 3750.
