i can't get my head round a solution but hopefully somebody will beable to help me or point me in the right direction.

we have about 50 laptops which home workers use, when there at home they plug there laptop into our router on our broadband and the get connected directley to our servers, so they use our policies and they cant go wondering on the internet.

we also have a remote site which go can connect to brings an RDP session up which then connects to our servers.

what i want them to do is to beable to connect to wireless hot spots or connect through 3G or even through a Hotel LAN but i dont want them wondering on the internet, i need to set up the firewall to say if the IP address isnt 192.168.X.X on there laptop then all they can connect to is our remote internet site and they cant get on any other site other then our remote site.

how do i go about setting somthing like this up???

any ideas

Cheers

You could use a script that checked whether you are in your internal network or not. If they were, it would set the Gateway to your router/FW that you use, if not, it would clear it.

As the Default Gateway is cleared, they wouldn't be able to access anything outside of the local network.

Check connectivity to a couple of servers, use the command route to provide a gateway or not
