source files in a separate directory than the project files

Hi experts,

I want to have my source files in a separate directory.  Visual Studio puts all the files in the same directory.  How can have different directory for the source and other project files.

It has a Properties, bin, obj, Resources directory by default.  I want to have a src directory and move all my .cs files to there.

If you go to the menu option Project->New Folder you can add directories to your project and rearrange your source files as you want.

You can create folders under the solution, which is the best option.  Are you looking to create folders outside of the solution root?

No, I want to just organize my files in the project.  For example, I have few GUI related source files and util files.

So, I want to have something like

Project -
            - src -  util
                    - gui

Thank you.  I was able to do it as right clicking on the project and Add->NewFolder.  I then just dragged all the source files to the new directory.
